What a roof quote should include
- High-pressure clean of the whole roof.

- Primer or sealer, and the number of top coats.
- Safety: edge protection or scaffolding, and who pays for it.
- Clean-up of gutters and the yard after the job.
Questions about roof painting costs
How much does roof painting or restoration cost?
A typical house roof costs about $4,500 to $11,000. Small roofs can start at $2,500. Large or damaged roofs can pass $15,000.
Is roof painting the same as roof restoration?
Not quite. Roof painting is the clean and new coats. Restoration also includes repairs, such as ridge caps, broken tiles or rusted sheets, before painting.
Why does the price per m2 go down for big roofs?
Set-up, safety gear and travel cost about the same on every job. On a big roof those costs spread over more square metres.
