Unfortunately, some painting companies provide very cheap quotes and find it easy to cut corners especially on the preparation because they are not qualified tradesmen, use inferior products and don't deliver what they have promised, so they cut corners. This is where the paint finish fails after they have finished to job, it cracks, peels or comes off. In the long term this is not value for money as more preparation and painting is required which obviously means more costs.
