Claremont is a northern Hobart suburb in the City of Glenorchy, on the western shore of the Derwent. It grew around the chocolate factory in the early 1900s, so you will find some interwar and older timber homes. Large parts are postwar weatherboard, fibro and brick, with newer units on the slopes.
